Emmanuel Clase Posted A Video Of All Of His Awards And Trophies Last Night After Giving Up Back-to-Back Bombs In The 8th
Look I don't know how to link an Instagram story, so instead I'm going to just link this Instagram post and say this: if you cared enough to click on this blog, you need to care enough to go to his profile and watch in Instagram story from late last night after the game. The game in which he, our likely 2nd in the Cy Young race All-Star closer who gave up 5 runs in the last decade, gave up back-to-back jacks in the Bottom of the 8th without recording an out to give up the lead.
Tough outing for Clase, no doubt about it. It lessens it for the fans because Cleveland still won the game, but in Clase's head, people are now questioning his abilities after being lights out all year and blowing not one, but two games now in these playoffs.
Everyone from Yankees fans to Dave Portnoy….wait those are the same thing….digging up old tweets about Clevelanders saying he should be Cy Young. About Austin Hedges saying he is better than Mariano Rivera. Just dunking on the guy. And his response? To go onto his Instagram and make a story saying "We'll talk tomorrow" and posting all of his rings and trophies he's won over the years.
Look I gotta call it as I see it. This is lame as fuck. This gives me vibes of LeBron reminding everyone he's still rich and has a better life than them after losing to the Mavs in the NBA Finals. Don't get me wrong, I'm still riding with my boy Clase into any situation….and I hope he gets the ball again tonight….but this is weird. We all know you're good, man. You're the best we got. You gave up a few bombs to two of the best hitters in baseball. Lock in and get pissed off and demand the ball again tonight. But the "look at my trophies" is a hardo move.
